Germans Avoid British Tourists
After a British tourist won compensation on discovering that his holiday hotel was full of Germans, the Fatherland's media has retaliated with a guide on avoiding English tourists in the Mediterranean.
David Barnish complained that the staff in the Greek hotel where he had booked his holiday spoke only German, while TVs were tuned to German language channels.
His travel company paid him £750 (€950) to sooth his hurt feelings. The Germans, however, were stung too. “Dear Tommies, you don’t want to go on holiday with us? No problem – we will play football without you this summer", said Bild (reported in the Times) as the Brits and the Germans crossed swords once again for the annual "Battle of the Beachtowels."

Bild lists resorts where the British congregate to binge drink and fornicate, advising readers that these locations are best avoided, unless pools of vomit and beer bellies rank high on the tourist's list of must-sees.
A guide which advises readers how to avoid the British abroad? EURSOC wonders if an English translation is available...
