More scams, fiddles and downright theft from the European Parliament in Brussels. The EU Referendum Blog has a run-down of the worst offenders among British MEPs in the Parliament, who are enjoying all-expenses paid trips to exotic locations, being treated to free slap-up meals every day and, in some cases, supplementing household income by paying spouses executive salaries for part-time assistant roles.

The EU Referendum team were commenting on a long overdue investigation in Britain's News of the World which claimed to "expose" MEPs expenses fiddles. Frank Carson lookalike Tom Wise MEP was the main target of the NOTW's enquiry - a female reporter tailed him for several days as he boasted of how he made thousands at the taxpayer's expense via travel scams, while failing to do any work worthy of the name.

England Expects makes a welcome return with a look at Tory MEP Sir Robert Atkins' claim that what he paid his some was less than what other assistants earned.
