There has been some interesting debate related to last week's post about a Turkish lawyer who planned to sue Inter Milan football club for wearing a strip offensive to Muslim sensibilities.

Perhaps the last word must go to a contributor from Northern Ireland, who didn't post in the comments but emailed EURSOC:
"In reference to your concern that Turks offended by the Christian "Crusader" cross will be mortified by the existence of Ulster's Crusaders FC, allow me to reassure you that there is little likelihood that "the Crues" will ever venture far enough into European tournaments to be able to offend our more sensitive Turkish cousins."
