A New Hope For France?
Matt Welch has published a great feature on French liberty campaigner Sabine Herold. Herold is the 22 year old leader of Liberté, j'écris ton nom, a group that surprised everyone in the summer by drawing a crowd of 80,000 to an anti-strike protest in Paris.
She's been subject of fawning profiles in the UK and a hate campaign in France for daring to suggest that her country needs to emulate Anglo-Saxon business methods. Welch is spot on with the interview, neither overplaying Herold's impact nor underestimating her potential.
